Bradesco, Visa and Cielo launch partial credit card authorization

Now if the card limit doesn't cover the whole purchase, a part can be passed anyway

  • By the end of November, Partial Authorization will be enabled for Cielo’s 1.5 million merchant clients;
  • And 6 million Bradesco Visa cards in the country will also be authorised to use this function.

Credit card purchase will no longer be plastered by the card limit. Together, Bradesco, Visa and Cielo launched the so-called Partial Authorization. With it, the customer can spend a portion of the purchase in installments on credit and pay the remainder, which exceeds the limit of the card, with another method available.

The modality will be available to Cielo’s merchants and Bradesco Visa cardholders. According to the companies, by the end of November, Partial Authorization will be enabled for Cielo’s 1.5 million merchant clients and 6 million Bradesco Visa cards in the country.

“This is one more step Bradesco takes to make its customers’ daily lives easier,” said Frederico Napoleon, executive product superintendent of Bradesco Cards, in a press release.
