Netflix to donate $5 million to support Black creators and community

Netflix announced it will donate $5 million to organizations and companies that support projects created by Blacks, including the Ghetto Film School and Black Public Media. The company retweeted the information regarding the money published by Shadow and Act.

The subscription-video company announced donations of an initial $3 million to organizations dedicated to creating opportunities for Black creators, Black youth and Black-owned businesses, including Colin Kaepernick’s Know Your Rights Camp.
