One of the most expected topics of the Brazilian economic plan is to privatize huge governmental companies, nine of them were already included in the privatization plan presented in August 2019. But from where those came out, there’s still a lot more to come and the international market is waiting for the Correios turn to going public.
After companies such as Amazon and AliExpress had already revealed its interest in buying Correios as soon as it is possible, the company that seems to be one os the most popular among international investors has a new possible buyer in the line, the American logistics company UPS, revealed the Brazilian media outlet Suno Notícias.
The news website stated to have the information directly from a source close to the Brazilian Economy Minister Paulo Guedes, but it wasn’t officially confirmed.

However, the post office still not being included in the government plans of privatization, the latest list was released in October 2019 and, for now, there are no official predictions of new names joining the list.
