A store in store deal between two big Brazilian retailers: Magazine Luiza and Lojas Marisa

Magazine Luiza will sell electronics inside more than 300 Lojas Marisa stores

In another store in store action, Magazine Luiza announced that it will sell smartphones within more than 300 Lojas Marisa. This is the second store in store partnership announced by the retailer this year. In May the company unveiled a six-month pilot project to sell electronics within two units of the Carrefour supermarket chain.

On the one hand, Lojas Marisa wins a new product mix, on the other, Magazine Luiza is testing another store in store possibility, now offering products (smartphones and accessories) and digital services (Magalu Conecta, Maga Mais and cards and content), in addition to insurance.

With the partnership, Magazine Luiza will be responsible for managing the technology category of Lojas Marisa, as it will control inventory and employees, as well as the strategy and logistics of this entire section.

The withdraw option called “Retira na Loja”, where customers withdraw products purchased through e-commerce, will also be available at Marisa’s physical stores.
