Avianca and Azul will make joint flights to 27 countries, connecting Latin America to Europe and the US

The agreement was signed this week between the Brazilian company and Avianca's holding in Colombia

Avianca Holdings announced on Wednesday (25) a codeshare agreement with the Brazilian airline Azul. According to Estadão Conteúdo, both companies will be able to sell the flights bundled together, with the issuance of a single ticket and the sending of baggage to the final destination.

In total, Azul customers will be able to travel to 76 destinations in 27 countries on Avianca’s network of routes in North, Central, and South Americas, and Europe.

At the same time, Avianca customers will be able to travel from any place in the Avianca route network to Sao Paulo, Rio de Janeiro and Porto Alegre and connect with domestic routes of the Brazilian company. There are 27 destinations operated by Azul in Brazil.
